Updated Bentley Continental GT Spied Testing
With Bentley now part of the Audi business, we’ve taken to the practice of keeping you up-to-date on the latest from Crewe. In this case, it’s sightings of a facelifted Continental GT. As is typical of mid-lifecycle freshening, changes are expected to be “soft points” such as bumpers and lights, while “hard points” like body stampings tend to carry over unchanged.
In as much, one of the most noticeable changes that appears on this test mule is the headlights that will likely take on an LED DRL signature closer to the Bantur or Bacalar. At the rear, the taillights will also grown length based on what we can see here.
Under the hood, the Continental GT based on the same MSB Matrix as the Porsche Panamera, is expected to take on both hybridized V6 and V8 engines (think 2.9 TFSI from RS 5 and 4.0 TFSI from RS 6/7). Whether or not non-hybridized versions carry through remains to be seen.
