When Audi Club Glacier Lakes rebranded its annual high-performance driving event (HPDE) at Brainerd International Raceway to “quattroberfest” back in 2018, it seemed like a natural fit given the transition from spring to fall. The event has been gaining momentum ever since, continually attracting more and more enthusiasts from the area as a great way to bookend their HPDE season.

Audi Club Glacier Lakes strives to combine quality HPDE instruction, track time, guest speakers, and time for social gathering into the quattroberfest This includes a Friday lapping day for advanced drivers, Friday night reception and driver meeting, Saturday & Sunday HPDE, and a dinner trackside Saturday evening. A featured guest speaker participates in classroom discussions, an instructor lunch-and-learn session, and provides a keynote speech at the trackside dinner.

After having to cancel in 2020, everyone was excited for quattroberfest to return in 2021. Instruction and track time was enhanced by the participation of guests Andrew Rains and Ryan Finch, professional racers and principals at Apex PRO. The pair offered seminars, coaching, left and right seat instruction, and data analysis throughout the weekend.

Thank you to the Glacier Lakes Board, the event sponsors. all the great volunteers, and especially those of you that came to BIR and participated in our signature event!

We look forward to seeing you next year at quattroberfest 2022!
