Model Car Exchange at Audi Forum Ingolstadt

An Auto Union Type C in the color pink – doesn’t it exist? There is: at the Audi model car exchange on Sunday, 3. December, in Ingolstadt, one of the largest of its kind in southern Germany. The pink pre-war race car in 1: 87 scale is the limited special model for this year’s stock exchange, which traditionally takes place on the first Sunday of Advent at the Audi Forum Ingolstadt. It is organized in a proven way jointly by Audi Tradition and the Audi Modellautoclub Ingolstadt.

Model cars, car literature, Automobilia – the range that awaits guests at the collector’s event is diverse. At the model car exchange in the Audi city, the focus is on miniatures of the brands Audi, Auto Union, DKW, Horch, Wanderer and NSU, and yet there are also collectibles from other brands and manufacturers. The fans of the small cars will come on Sunday, 3. December, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at their expense. Speaking of costs: Admission to the Audi model car exchange is free, as well as the visit to the Audi museum mobile on this day. The new special exhibition “Windschnittig” has recently been seen there – it shows the beginnings of aerodynamic concepts in automobile construction until 1945. And there on the 3rd December also the social Christmas market organized by the Ingolstadt Works Council takes place on the Audi Piazza, the first Sunday of Advent is ideal for a trip with the whole family.

A highlight of the stock exchange is the special model in pink, which is popular with many fans, which is limited to exactly 500 copies. This year, this is a Car Union Type C, which is offered for 17 euros. In addition, stock market visitors can of course also purchase the coveted collector’s pin – the motif of the pin 2023 is fittingly the radiator grille of the Auto Union Type C. There are a total of 333 pins at the price of 3 euros each. The proceeds from the sale of special model and pin will be donated to a charitable purpose as every year.
