Is This the RS Q6 Sportback? We Think So!

Here’s another interesting test mule that turned up on industry test days at the Nürburgring, and we’re pretty sure it’s an RS version of the upcoming Q6 e-tron Sportback. Though the shape is very similar to the already seen Q6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron, some key details seen peeking through the test mule’s camouflage seem to suggest there’s something hotter burning through.

First off, the track of the mule appears to be wider, and it’s got fender vents at the front wheels much like the RS e-tron GT, RS 6 GT and RS 3… vents that the Q6 and SQ6 simply don’t have. The front fascia also seems to have a similar “smile” as the RS e-tron GT facelift mules we’ve seen, as well as the RS 6 e-tron mule photos we ran yesterday.

There’s more telling the story though. This mule also has the largest wheels we’ve seen on a Q6/SQ6, while underneath are some massive red brake calipers, though the discs aren’t drilled like the ones on the RS 6 e-tron mule.
