Hagerty announces a dynamic new partnership with SUSTAIN fuels which launches at the 2024 Hagerty Hill Climbevent, taking place at Shelsley Walsh on Saturday 11th May.
Since its launch in 2021, SUSTAIN has had a commitment to preserving the beauty and legacy of classic vehicles. Developed by bespoke fuel specialist Coryton, the SUSTAIN Classic range has been carefully engineered to meet the unique needs of classic car engines.
With a balanced blend of advanced additives and sustainable biomass, this innovative fuel offers exceptional environmental benefits without compromising on power, is safe to use in any car able to run on pump fuel and can even be mixed with traditional petrol already in the tank.
SUSTAIN Classic products use advanced second-generation biofuel manufactured from agricultural waste, such as straw, by-products or waste from crops which wouldn’t be used for consumption. By doing so, the fuel utilises the carbon that already exists in our atmosphere, which the plants absorb as they grow, recycling it, rather than releasing additional CO2 that is currently locked underground in fossil fuel.
As part of the new agreement, SUSTAIN Classic fuel experts will be at the Hagerty Hill Climb event later this month, the 2024 Hagerty Festival of the Unexceptional in July, and at Hagerty’s RADwood UK event in September.
At each event there will be opportunities for enthusiasts to sample the fuel, ask questions and become better acquainted with the benefits associated with the use of sustainable fuels in their own classic vehicles.
Speaking of the partnership Mark Roper, Managing Director for Hagerty International, said:
“Classic car owners want to make their vehicles as environmentally friendly as possible, but many have questions about the compatibility of sustainable fuels. As part of this new partnership, Hagerty offers drivers the chance to sample SUSTAIN Classic fuel, along with the opportunity to ask questions to the SUSTAIN experts at all of our 2024 main events.”
David Richardson, Business Development Director at Coryton, said: “We’re delighted to be teaming up with Hagerty to showcase the power of sustainable fuels. In recent years we’ve seen a real rise in the public’s interest in our technology, with the appetite being particularly strong amongst vintage vehicle owners. With three Hagerty events on the horizon, we’ll be perfectly placed to share our passion for sustainable fuels with the classic car community and discuss the science behind this pioneering solution in more detail.”
