Audi Future Models Roadmap: Q9, a Large Internal Combustion SUV

Another further development expected to spawn from PPC is a newer and larger SUV offering believed to be called Q9. Test mules of the SUV have already been seen testing, and nearly a year ago now outgoing design boss Marc Lichte began commenting on such a car to the press. 

“I’m a big fan of really rugged SUVs. There’s potential for us because there are only two premium players – I think there’s space for a third,” said Lichte to CarSales.com.AU. He went on to say, “With our history of quattro and rally successes in the ‘80s and ‘90s, it will not look like a copy of the Defender, I can promise you.”
