Audi do Brasil Launches A5 carbon edition

São Paulo, Brazil – Audi do Brasil announces the launch of the A5 2.0 Sportback carbon edition, a special series developed for the Brazilian market and limited to only 50 units, which will be available from the month, for R$ 397,990, in the brand’s network of authorized dealerships throughout Brazil.

“The limited edition A5 carbon edition reflects the brand’s positioning in the Brazilian market within Audi AG’s global strategy. We are consolidated as one of the most desired premium manufacturers in the country and we want to offer increasingly exclusive products. This is the case of the carbon edition, developed especially to meet the demands and preferences of the local consumer,” summarizes Diego Borghi, Director of Sales of Audi do Brasil.

The special edition is developed with an exclusive design that gives the model even more sportiness, with the rear spoiler and the covers of the external mirrors composed of carbon fiber, a highly resistant, lightweight and technological material. The look also brings a sticker with the logo of the four rings on the bottom of the rear door and the bright black hue applied to the brand logo, cabin elements and the front hexagonal grille frame. The new 19-inch Audi Sport wheels with red brake calipers complete the sweeping look. Inside, the vehicle also receives an exclusive badge with the name and number of the edition, applied to the console.

The model is equipped with the 2.0 Turbo FSI thruster, which develops 204 horsepower between 4,475 rpm and 6,000 rpm and 320 Nm of torque between 1,450 and 4,475. The mechanical assembly is aided by the seven-speed S tronic transmission and ensures sporty performance, with acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in just 7.2 seconds and maximum speed electronically limited to 210 km/h.

Among the standard equipment of the Audi A5 carbon edition are three-zone automatic air conditioning, Matrix LED headlights, Adaptive Cruise control and Lane Departure Warning system. In addition, they are present as standard items thin napa leather seats with printed S logo, S logo on the steering wheel, stainless steel sports pedalboards, central interior finish of the cabin in glossy black and molded roof in black fabric.

The special edition also offers folding external rear-view mirrors (exclusive of this version). The only optional is the Bang & Olufsen 3D premium sound system. The external colors available, at no additional cost, are: Navarre Blue, Glacier White, Ibis White, Daytona Grey, Mito Black, District Green, Tango Red and Ascari Blue. In the cabin, the shade options for the coating of the seats and doors are Gray and Black.
