Should Audi Have Built the 1997 A8 Coupe concept?

Every once in a while, Audi Tradition loads up a vintage car or concept into their trailer and rolls it down to the Audi Forum Ingolstadt for a surprise visit. No doubt tourists in on the forum’s piazza are surprised to see these rarities, and those photos often end up on the social media channel of Audi Deutschland. That’s the case this week for the Audi A8 Coupe concept.

You could almost walk right past this striking 2-door given it looks so ready for mass production. The car was actually built as a design study for the 1997 Geneva Motor Show and boasts the same V8 drivetrain as the production A8 of its time.
