São Paulo, April 20, 2023 – Audi do Brasil announces the entry of the RS e-tron GT in the Audi Luxury Signature, the exclusive program of vehicle subscriptions of the brand, available in the complete network with more than 40 dealerships spread over 37 cities in all regions of the country. This is the first RS model to be made available in the Audi Luxury Signature, which now offers 15 models from the four-ring portfolio. The manufacturer’s first electric supersport is available in a single version and with monthly fees from R$ 22,385.00, in the 36-month plan.

The arrival of the new Audi RS e-tron GT also marks a new record of the program. In 2022 alone, 26% of total subscriptions went to all-electric vehicles. With subscription options for 18, 24 and 36 months, the Audi Luxury Signature offers the customer the option to choose vehicles already available for prompt delivery by providing family, sports and electric models of the brand.

“The Audi RS e-tron GT is today the main icon of our brand. The vehicle offers performance, technology and unique design being a reference in electrification. The arrival of the model to Audi’s subscription program only proves our goal in offering the best mobility experiences in the country,” says Diego Borghi, sales director of Audi do Brasil. “Audi Luxury Signature is today the main subscription option in the premium segment and plays an important role of novelty and exclusivity to customers who are looking for increasingly personalized solutions in their routines,” he concludes.

The Audi RS e-tron GT is offered in a single version within the Audi Luxury Signature. Launched as a pilot in 2020, the program pioneered the niche of premium vehicles in Brazil and currently offers the largest portfolio of models available for subscription in this segment, with a total of fifteen different vehicles: A3 Sportback, A3 Sedan, A4, A5, Q3, Q3 Sportback, Q5, Q5 TFSIe, Q5 TFSIe Sportback, Q7, Q8, e-tron, e-tron Sportback, e-tron S Sportback and RS e-tron GT.

The program is available to individuals or legal entities, offers family, sports and electrical options, and has plans of 18, 24 and 36 months, in addition to a franchise of up to 1,500 kilometers per month. Among the advantages, the customer does not have to worry about revisions or documentation in general (IPVA, insurance, licensing) and also has 24-hour assistance from Audi Class Service. It is also possible to include the shield during the hiring period.

The Audi RS e-tron GT

The Audi RS e-tron GT is the first electric supersport of the brand. The RS model needs only 3.3 seconds to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h. The maximum speed is 250 km/h. The electric motor on the front axle releases 175 kW of power, while the motor on the rear delivers 335 kW. The total power is 440 kW and the total torque is 830 Nm. In boost mode, the power briefly increases to 475 kW or 646 horsepower.

The sports sound of the RS e-tron GT deserves a separate chapter: Audi composed a unique sound for the model, transmitted by two control units and amplifiers in the luggage compartment. They generate a sound separating exterior and interior, which comes out through two speakers, outside and inside the vehicle. Data on the rotational speed of electric motors, load, vehicle speed and other parameters serve as the basis for digital sound, which offers an authentic impression of the work performed by the traction system.

The high-voltage battery can store 93 kWh of energy in both models. It integrates 33 modules, each comprising 12 cells with flexible external coating. The model can charge with 11 kW in alternating current (AC) as standard, which allows it to recharge a battery completely at night. In a direct current (DC) terminal with adequate power, the electric gran turismo reaches a peak load capacity of up to 270 kW. This allows it to recharge up to 100 km in just over five minutes. The charge up to 80% takes less than 22.5 minutes under ideal conditions.
