Colorado Launches Pike’s Peak License Plate

Heads up to Colorado residents, the Rocky Mountain state has revealed their latest specialty license plate paying tribute to the Pike’s Peak International Hillclimb. Audi has a significant history at Pike’s Peak, from the earliest class victories in an ur quattro rally car by John Buffum, later Group B-spec Sport quattro victories including their first overall victory by Michèle Mouton, subsequent S1 E2 victories by Bobby Unser and Walter Röhrl, or later activities by teams running Audi models, the tie to Audi Sport is undeniable.
