Audi Club Auction Watch: 06.08.2023

Guten Tag Audi enthusiasts!  Searching through the internet’s multiple car auction sites for a specific model, while fun, can take up your valuable time.  And unfortunately you’re going to have to keep at it for the next few weeks because the wife and I are going to the races.  No need to worry though, Auction Watch will return after the IndyCar race at Road America, the IMSA race at Watkins Glen, and some R&R in the Finger Lakes region.  Expect the next installment on or about July 6th.

Until then, there are five cars whose auctions end today, all have an S in their name and there’s one of every car style!  If they don’t grab you, how about a 2016 launch edition S7 with an awesome interior?  Please check out all this week’s listing below and thanks for reading.

2001 Audi S4 Avant (184,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends early this PM!  As seen in Wednesday’s Find of the Day, a long roof with a long history and a lot of miles but they are all well-reflected in the accident/damage-free Carfax report that contains considerable service history.  The Imola Yellow over Onyx interior is obvious, the Unitronic Stage 1 tune isn’t.  The 2.7L V6 also sports a Neuspeed cat-back exhaust and connects to a 6-speed manual.  Other mods include an RS4 steering wheel, Piano Black dash trim, and PhatNoise hard drive MP3 system in place of the CD changer.

2003 Audi RS 6 (51,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends early this PM!  This sedan is powered by a twin-turbo 4.2L V8 factory rated at 450HP/415 lb-ft that spins a 5-speed Tiptronic.  The chassis is equipped with Dynamic Ride Control and a sport suspension.  Outside it’s painted Mugello Blue Pearl Effect, inside the carbon fiber-trimmed black cabin are silver leather seats with black piping.  Carfax reports no accidents or damage but only four service records and has large time gaps.

2018 Audi S5 Coupe (40,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends mid PM!  A bit of a sleeper here, the 3.0L turbocharged V6 and ZF 8-speed gearbox now run 034Motorsport Stage 1 tunes and that’s not all, please read the listing for details.  The Mythos Black metallic with an RS-style grille is over a black interior with Fine Nappa leather seats, Carbon Atlas inlays, and B&O sound.  Carfax reports no accidents or damage.

2013 Audi S4 (64,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends mid PM!  A B8.5 gen sedan in Phantom Black pearl with tinted windows, looking pretty shiny outside but the engine bay needs some TLC.  The drivetrain: a 3.0L supercharged V6 (333HP/325 lb-ft) is connected to a 6-speed manual.  The black cabin has optional Nappa leather seats, Carbon Atlas inlays, and B&O sound.  Carfax reports it sustained minor damage to the rear in November 2019 and the Lemon Squad report states the panel alignment looked good with no signs of repairs or collisions found.

2015 Audi SQ5 (108,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends mid PM!  The 3.0L supercharged V6, rated by Audi at 354HP/346 lb-ft in this chassis, drives an 8-speed Tiptronic.  The finish is Daytona Gray pearl over a black interior featuring a Technology Package, leather/Alcantara seats, a panoramic sunroof, and B&O sound.  The only mods are tinted windows and front and rear dash cams.  Perhaps the latter mod is driven by the Carfax-reported minor damage to the rear in August 2017.

2007 Audi A4 Avant (89,000 Miles)

This car’s second BaT listing after the winning bidder ($15,000) failed to complete the deal in mid-April 2023.  It’s painted Ibis White, refinished in a few places, over a wood-trimmed beige leather interior.  The turbocharged 2.0L I4, rated 200HP/207 lb-ft when new, had its timing belt and front motor mounts replaced in October 2016.  Please see the listing for a lot more work/service performed.  Carfax reports very minor damage to the left rear in August 2007.

2016 Audi S7 (66,000 Miles)

1 of 50 Audi Exclusive launch editions for this MY!  Finished in Daytona Gray pearl with Black Optic package outside, the Crimson Red/Black Valcona leather interior with Crimson Red seat belts and door panels and Carbon Atlas inlays, plus Driver Assistance Package, is great.  The drivetrain consisting of a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 rated at 450HP/406 lb-ft mated to a 7-speed S tronic isn’t bad either.  The seller states it comes with an Audi CPO warranty that expires in December 2023 but I’d get that verified as it seems too long.  A clean Carfax report too.

2004 Audi TT Roadster 225 (81,000 Miles)

No Reserve.  With a few scratches in the paint and interior flaws this one’s a driver.  The turbocharged 1.8L I4 (225HP/207 lb-ft) had its the coolant flush, oil changed, and timing belt, water pump, oil pan and turbo oil return gaskets, thermostat, and oil dipstick replaced by the  current owner.  It’s Dolomite Gray pearl with a black soft top (plastic rear window) over Ebony leather seats, an Audi Concert CD stereo and Bose sound.  The Carfax reported mileage is higher, twice, than the current digital odometer reading but no accidents or damage are reported.

2014 Audi R8 V10 Coupe (15,000 Miles)

Bright Ibis White with carbon fiber vinyl-wrapped sideblades on the outside, black with a possibly a full leather package and carbon sigma trim inside.  The 5.2L V10 is surrounded by carbon fiber (that’s a bit dirty), Audi rates it at 525HP/391 lb-ft and it mates to a 6-speed manual.  Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
