Gallery: RS 4 edition 25 years from Audi UK

Yes, we know that the RS 4 (much less the RS 4 edition 25 years) is forbidden fruit for North Americans. Even still, it’s one of the coolest new Audi products in a while and a veritable cornucopia of OEM parts for those who watch new models with great interest, generally importing key components and trims in order to install on their own cars on this side of the pond. So, when Audi UK drops a large “real world” gallery of images of this sort of model, you know we’re going to publish them.

Worth noting, the Audi RS 4 edition 25 years celebrates the original Audi RS 4 Sport, a B5-era RS 4 that sported Imola Yellow bodywork and more aggressive kit including Recaro Pole Position seats and ample black Alcantara. We only know of two examples of the RS 4 Sport that were built, one owned by Audi Tradition (and often seen in the Audi museum mobile in Ingolstadt) and the other owned by Audi UK’s heritage fleet. That the latter didn’t make it out to this photo shoot is a crying shame, but we’ll give them a pass because these photos aren’t just amazing in their detail, but they’re also the only photos we’ve gotten our hands on since the initial drop of PR shots. More power to you Audi UK.
