GMP Performance Charlotte Plans Supply Transport to Hurricane Helene Affected Western Carolina. Calls on Audi Community to Support
If you’re not amid the chaos left in the wake of Hurricane Helene, it’s hard to get your head around the level of devastation. One need only look at the imagery and video coming out of affected areas though to get even a hint at what locals are going through. Given the shocking aftermath, we want to call attention to parts of the Audi community and car enthusiasts community in general who are preparing to aid those affected. We’ll start with a post we saw by Audi Club Carolinas sponsor GMP Performance Charlotte who made a post on the Audi Club Carolinas Facebook Group. At this time of writing, GMP is preparing its 53′ semi car hauler, repurposing it to haul much needed supplies to affected areas. They’re calling on community members to send or drop off supples.

SUPPLY TRANSPORT 10/3/24
Shocked by the destruction experienced by our neighbors in Western NC. We have close ties to the community with its proximity to our Charlotte and Lake Norman locations.
We would like to help with the efforts to get donations and supplies to the area and have a dually, enclosed and open car trailers and a 53’ semi trailer car hauler that we are willing to use to transport supplies to the area once the roads are cleared.
Anyone that wants to donate supplies please drop them off at our location and we will plan to make a run up the mountains. Please drop them off by Wednesday afternoon as we plan to leave on Thursday morning.

Water, Non-Perishable Food Items, Sports Drinks, Baby Wipes, Diapers (Children & Adults), Baby Formula, Bug Spray, Plastic Utensils, Manual Can Openers, Plastic Sheeting & Tarps, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Toiletries/Sanitation Items, Pet Food, Hand Sanitizer, Feminine Hygiene Products, Heavy Duty Work Gloves, Socks – All Sizes (Unopened)
