The InEVitable Podcast: Designer Freeman Thomas

While Motor Trend’s InEVitable podcast may focus mainly on electromobility and future tech, hosts Jonny Lieberman and Ed Loh tend to wander off the main mission. In this case, designer Freeman Thomas who has come to talk about his latest project Meyers Manx, but ends up spending much of hte episode telling incredible stories of his time in design at many of the most loved car brands.

Around these parts, Thomas is best known for his role in designing the original Audi TT. He expands on that, and mentions other Audi projects as well. Imagine a front-engine GT harkening Auto Union racers of the 1930s and powered by a Lamborghini V12. Yes, he worked on something like that for a bit. Want to hear more?
