Audi Club Carolinas, Georgia & Tennessee Chapters with Hurricane Relief Efforts
As we move solidly into the aftermath stage of Hurricane Helene, we’re seeing more and more activity involving the Audi enthusiast community, with some directly affected by the destruction and many more stepping up to help out. We want to provide updates of these as we learn them in order to make the greater community as a whole aware and invite additional support. Below is a summary of what we know so far.
AUDI CLUB GEORGIA
Working with Jim Ellis Audi Atlanta, Jim Ellis Audi Marietta, GMP Performance Charlotte and GMP Performance Lake Norman in Mooresville, NC, Audi Club Georgia as drop off points for donations. In a call to members on Facebook, Audi Club Georgia wrote:
As you all know last week Western Carolina experienced devastating impact from Hurricane Helene. Relief efforts are extremely challenging, towns have been washed away, and many of our neighbors are stranded with no means of communication or access to food or water.
This area is very special to many of us in the club – we spend a great deal of time enjoying the gorgeous scenery and incredible mountain roads that are truly unlike any other area in the country. We are so lucky to have NC as our neighbor and we are committed to pulling together during their time of need!
Our longtime title sponsor Jim Ellis @audiatlanta @audi_marietta have started a relief effort and are taking donated items at both locations to be airdropped.
Our friends at @gmp_performance_charlotte @gmp_performance_lake_norman are also taking donated items at both NC locations.
Please drop off items to any location of your choice by Wednesday afternoon so that they can be delivered end of this week.
AUDI CLUB CAROLINAS
Sent out to Carolinas members are several efforts with plans for taking in supplies. In particular Audi Cape Fear and Racing for ALS are stepping up alongside GMP Performance’s efforts we announced yesterday. Audi Club Carolinas has shared a message with donation information to help keep this organized.
Audi Cape Fear is undergoing new renovations to their showroom. They are requesting that we drop off Hurricane Helene relief supplies at either Lotus Cape Fear or BMW Motorcycles Cape Fear locations. Let’s help them fill the truck this week! See posts below. Thanks for your support!
Audi Cape Fear is part of Unity Auto Group, and has diverted supplies to their Lotus and BMW Motorcycle stores in order to best work around their own constructions. Their goal is to fill a box truck with water and supplies needed that will be shipped out ASAP.
Rob Wilmoth of Audi Club Carolinas shared details about Racing for ALS’ support plans. He posted on the Audi Club Carolinas Group stating:
Racing for ALS has four haulers going into impacted areas. We are accepting financial donations as well as relief supplies.

AUDI CLUB TENNESSEE
Tennessee was also affected by the hurricane, and efforts there are also ongoing. Audi Club Tennessee posted:
Those of us in Audi Club Tennessee are deeply saddened to see the devastating impact Hurricane Helene has had on East Tennessee, North Carolina, and beyond. We are reaching out to the community to collect supplies to support those affected and help them recover from this tragic event.
While we are an Audi club, you don’t have to be an Audi owner to donate—anyone can make a difference. We are in need of a variety of supplies, including bottled water, non-perishable foods, baby items, first-aid kits, pet supplies, hygiene products, and more. Even the smallest contribution can go a long way in helping those in need.
